Mission

Formica and moss, stitched with twigs and dirt, became my first laboratory of imagination. Under the shady dogwood tree, I crafted elaborate bases for my GI Joe figures, unknowingly laying the groundwork for a life dedicated to creation.

From childhood play to professional pursuits, I’ve always found joy in making things—whether carving holes in the garden for action figures, engineering impromptu pyrotechnics inspired by the Dukes of Hazzard, or later developing software, creating art, making music, and transforming backyards into permaculture landscapes. My core mission has remained constant: to create something that brings happiness to others.

My path has been anything but linear. A painting major with a background in landscaping and performing music at local venues, I stumbled into software development almost by accident. When life presented challenges, I responded with radical moves—like leaving the country to reset and recalibrate.

Returning years later, I found a changed America that demanded reinvention. Financial challenges pushed me through multiple pivots—from artistic pursuits to corporate roles and back again. Now, at a later stage of life, the urgency of creation feels more intense. The pressure of time has transformed from a whisper to a Harpie (less a kind Muse).

This site is my attempt at what I suspect might be a last ditch effort to Charlie Mike—continue mission—and make more stuff that makes people happy.
